Morning ambiance over the rooftops of Barcelona
La Pedrera, also known as Casa Milà, is one of Barcelona's most iconic buildings, designed by the renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Completed in 1912, it is a masterpiece of modernist architecture, characterized by undulating stone facades, wrought-iron balconies resembling seaweed, and an innovative interior layout.
La Pedrera is particularly famous for its rooftop terrace, adorned with surreal chimneys and sculptures, offering panoramic views of Barcelona.
Barcelona comes alive on the rooftop of La Pedrera after sunrise. In this tranquil hour, as the city slowly awakens, I am embraced by Gaudi's architecture with its unique beauty.
As a photographer, I relish the quietude and the chance to capture the intricate details, almost alone in this iconic location. Every angle tells a story of creativity and grandeur, while the first rays of sunlight drape the facade in a warm glow.
